Yes it's all relative to ones own situation, Kevin Rudd recently said he forgives Julia Gilliard and isn't bitter anymore, it's good to be able to afford emotions these days when many like you say don't know where the next meal comes from. I think politics is more cut throat since then, it seems to me you have to be good looking as well as charismatic and also be liked by the media and all the other grains of salt.
Oh I forgot, in there it should be for the good if the country, I suppose I was thinking about how rock starfish politics has become, could be a new show on the ABC called P factor where all x ministers from both sides sit on a panel and judge contestants wanting to be politicians give there stand up speeches.
