Given the volatile nature of Ni prices, I imagine that it would need to maintain a minimum floor price of US$6-6.50 for a period of (at least) three to six months before pulling the trigger. It could very well be quite different in reality. Maybe even a US$6.50-$7 floor price to give sufficient comfort to the financier that there is enough margin of safety, given POS's performance history.
Agreed regarding the final decision most likely resting with the financier.
