First electric plane has been announced and built in Perth - two seater with a Perth to Rottnest route - 1 hour fly time plus 30 minutes reserve - twin electric motors with battery storage. recharge time with supercharger about 1 hour.
Cost to recharge much lower than fossil fuel equivalent - also easier to control and maintain - many less moving parts - should be quieter too
