Hi everyone...I've recently bought in @ $2.93, great buying at that price. Great dividend, I also believe Telstra is commited to capturing as much of the market from their competitors as possible.

For anyone interested who hasn't read TLS's recent announcement, here is some of it:

"TELSTRA STRUCTURE GEARED TO CUSTOMERS GROWTH,

They will form an "Applications & Venture Group to spearhead its investments in new and emerging high-speed broadband businesses. As faster broadband becomes available we expect an explosion in innovation and the development of new locally developed media-rich applications Mr Thodey said.

Telstra's AVG will invest with other companies and govt. agencies at the forefront of innovation to provide a new range of digital services for business and consumers, including health and education."

Keeping ahead of other competitors, imo will be key to Telstra's future success and their strategy with an "Applications & Venture Group" I believe is a positive step in that direction.
