    At this stage it is purely and simply a conventional well. If anything is to ever be fracced it will need further government approvals (as the company has said); which I can't see happening any time soon.

    Metgasco has put on hold it's CSG operations and have not yet delineated the conventional gas. So no well count can be put on that. Metgasco has also never fracced a CSG well. They were looking at doing horizontally drilled pilots previously, which indicates that the coal is cleated in a direction that is naturally amicable for gas production without the need for fraccing. So no, I can't see them fraccing a CSG well at this time, and they would need government approvals prior to fraccing any well regardless.
