but you left out the bit about "investment is all about timing" and how gold and gold shares are not the same and how if you hide in a bank you can get some money to nick off with the shares of all those galahs that could loose their grip when GFC2 arrives
that stuff in the bank has been doing better in nominal terms than many gold shares as an investment for a few years now so why not go with the "cash is king" crowd at least until you get a clear view of what the mob thinks about gold in the ground being a safe place to stash their hard earned
