However lets look at the alternatives..

If systems were go with NKP and things have progressed, then NKP should also be in a trading halt.

If NKP has pulled out then NKP should be in a trading halt.

If IGC have another offer on the table (remember exclusivity until August 7) then no need for NKP trading halt.

If IGC are pulling out-renegging on the option, then no need for an NKP trading halt.

Maybe it's something less material than we are expecting.

I see that IGC said announcement and trading halt until Tuesday, however ASX says Wednesday. Maybe IGC forgetting public holiday in eastern states...

Hopefully some leaks in the newspaper over weekend.
