Well I am an ex private supermarket operator who decided in the 90,s my capital would be better invested with Woolies rather than fighting them and it has paid off fairly handsomely.
However over the last 12 months I have noticed a decided drop in my local Woolies (Large Country WA Town)in all aspects smelly delli, old & badly mispriced fruit & Vege , crumbling infrastuctue and fittings plus a problem I had with fuel discounts has been left unanswered for over 6 months (Letter to head office and stated from a shareholder)
Hate to say it but I think they have got a bit too cocky at the top and are losing the plot as their big opposition here , both IGA and Coles are , I reckon , killing the pig.
Seriously thinking of moving 50% of my investment over to the opposition but murphys law tells me as soon as i do WOW will take off!
Very close to firing off a letter to the board.
