    There seems no doubt that AVQ has a great Nickel ore deposit, on a road to a jetty in a calm bay. No problem there.

    But it is on the Solomon Islands. Corruption is rife. The rule of law is very thin.

    St Barbara had a great gold deposit too. They had to give it up because the locals just took over the mine and the local police wouldn't uphold the law.

    AVQ is a gamble on sovereign risk and corruption.
