Welcome aboard but although i agree with you regarding a presence of corruption....that might be the only thingi agree with you on this.
You mention you have done your homework and i am the first 1 own to a healthy debate but i believe that you can not make a single comparison between st barbara and axiom,
Further your comments may be misleading regarding the reasons for the failure at gold ridge.
St barbara tried to use a robotic commercial mechanisim as their bussiness plan and failed miserably to both understand and/or engage locals and landowners, the company did everything expect the important thing......engage the landowners,
I will post pictures i took when flying above and you will see the current status and the present illegal miners on site and it really is a shambles atm.... massive $$$$ spent on relocation of locals in the area which are now vacant.....question is;
HOW THE HELL CAN YOU SPEND $500MIL+ ON A PROJECT AND NOT HAVE ANYONE THERE FULLTIME TO ENGAGE LOCAL DEMANDS AND NEEDS?
i am surprised the locals didnt start their revolt earlier. I have seen first hand the importance of maintaining relationships with the landowners yet st barbara didnt do any of this,
Also majority of st barbara workers were FIFO costing a mint, i will never understand why they ran the operation the way they did.
As for corruption
Your 100% correct and we have seen deep proven acts done by SMM that show you the type of acts that take place.....
I can gladly say that in all the years i have researched axiom i have failed to find a single PROVEN act of corruption, either with dealings with gov bodies or landowners and this has further made me comfortable with my investment.
I will bring to your that through my research through the octonet it seems that Axiom works side by Side with some of the landowners of Gold Ridge through our West Guada asset yet we have absolutely no issues......answer is simple, because axioms approach is working bottom up....not top down like larger corporate companies.......

So for the reason mentioned above i believe that there is no way 1 should compare the 2 companies to each other as they are oil and water.....
