I actually suspect the NXXT trades are noticably more prevelent these days because they also list trades between exchanges (cross-platform tardes) with this "identifier", so basically "cross" ASX & the new CHI-X exchange trades, so there will logically be more visible "cross-trades" between single-brokers/clients as well as between single-brokers/clients across exchanges, and the normal single exchange broker/broker "cross-trades" that have traditionally taken place...

Someone with more intrinsic knowledge of "cross exchange-platform trades" may be able to confirm that..??
