I was wondering about John Knghorn, given that now he stands to lose a crap load of money averaging $2.50to$3 in AFG and probably bout 15% stake in RRT. One of the things hat came out in the RRT thread was the NTA of 90c or thereabouts which mean even if RRt bellies it would still give 50-70C after costs etc eventually which means very good value
If AFG goes belly up what would happen given its assets are not just comm prop but infrastructute etc with even more complex financial strutuce? What would each shareholder expect if it has to sell up - nothing? If thats the case JK would have have lost quite a bit, about 100-150mill from quick calcs?
Do you guys think JK with his XP and insider knowledge would just throw that amount just because of old times sake...hmmm, i wonder. I have money but i wouldnt gamble away 5% of my fortune just because of sentiment
