The urban myth that shorting has caused the destruction of the sp doesn't hold up. The level of shorting has been fairly stable over the last month. It is about the 32nd most shorted stock on the ASX, not even vaguely in the same league as Myer or JB Hi Fi or GEM. You can check that at:
