    Yes, I got lucky twice last year, but still have my losses.

    the markets were very bubbly and evergrande, inflation data and funds starting with withdraw money from tech (without alarming anyone) was the catalyst for me to sell

    I had my research tell me a crash was imminent, and it happened.

    i still hold a decent number of tech, albeit in the red from re entry, but smaller positions

    I completely agree that many retail have lost overs in the last bull run, many have sold too.

    ASIC did put out a warning early covid, as they knew what would happen

    so many newer hungrier investors, forgoing their home deposits in search of Afterpay returns, many now left with nothing.

    so much data to support what happened and what was always going to happen.

    it’s all part of the cycle I suppose.
