I feel sorry for you as you seem like a really genuine guy who has read a few investment books or been on a few courses and are wedded to investment " theory ".
However as any venture capitalist will tell you any great idea is worthless without the management capable of executing on that idea.
in reality BNPL was never a great idea and was always doomed to fail but Molnar/ Eisen knew it had a limited shelf life and cashed out.
Ufortunately Zip management have not once demonstrated the same level of ability or execution and shareholders will be left holding the bag while they sail of onto the sunset with tens of millions of dollars converted for tax purposes.
