The former senior government official (Executive Manager, Regulatory Operations, within the Mineral Resourses Authority) responsible for ensuring that Mt Kare (EL1093) went into good hands after its transfer and renewal in August 2010 and is entirely satisfied and pleased with the manner in which IDC has progressed the project to date.
He more than anyone else understands the hurdles IDC faced in getting the Mt Kare Project back on track.
He says that IDC has put the project right on track to becoming a profitable long term producing mine in PNG within the next 24 months or so.
