If it’s against your values don’t buy it, personally I won’t buy any equity, be a club member or do business if they have anything to do with bitcoin, I assumed the etf & halving would push up price but happily stuck to my guns even as it basically doubled
If the gov were serious about laundering & criminality they’d be better off looking at blockchain variants
