i got my first jab last week. only reason being recent studies showing its effectiveness. understand it's not a silver bullet but i was an antivaxer and got the flu really bad one year. i was in my 30's, fit and healthy but ended up bed ridden for a week. i was living alone in a city where i knew no-one who could get me icecream cause thats all i could stomach. complete loss of appetite and crawling to the bathroom to drink tap water that tasted foul due to a complete change in taste. that experience of feeling like i was dying changed me into getting vaccinations thereafter and i haven't been sick since, except the odd sniffle. enough of me though..
