The elevated volume on Friday was due to the S&P index rebalance where PNV was removed from the ASX 200. It remains a member of the 300 (and All Ords). Index followers would sell out using the close of Friday as their trading benchmark. Some may sell earlier or later, but the bulk is executed at the close.
