Ah I should have guessed you're a daytrader. Yes, those with more resources and technology have made it more difficult to skim pips for retail punters. Capturing spread is the business of people like Jump and Susquehanna, and they throw a lot of resources at it. The rise of algo trading for insto investors has made it more difficult again. They operate under the same rules as you though... if you applied the same resources, you could do the same.
