I understand that a large number of margin players were called on the banks this week and this added to the selling pressure on the banks. Now those sellers have gone and the shorters need to get their positions back the market is nicely positioned for a bear market rally. This could easily take the SPI to 3080.
The US market is also shaping up for a strong rally as sentiment was so bad this week. Lets see if the earnings releases don't kick a few bears up the tail!
