Kylo, from the period from 2002 through to current July 2022 you would not find a suburb in South East Qld that has not risen less than between 300 to 350% ALL suburbs of Ipswich / Brisbane / Logan / Moreton / Redlands / Gold Coast.
A quick look on Sth East Qld sales history on realestate.com.au will support my statement.
And I feel it's a very similar scenario Australia wide.
The past 20 Years has seen enormous land/housing wealth created by those willing to put in a LONG hard days work & a focus on the future and to accept some up & down market fluctuations. The period around 2012 was a fairly decent blip on the uptrend but then rebounded to be what it is today.
Very likely we will see a extended flat-line of property prices for the next 10 Years before rebounding to higher highs.
TIME WILL TELL
Keep in mind the 2032 Summer Olympics in Brisbane, this will be IMO a turning point for Brisbane & surrounds property market.
