The only point I can add to all this hypothesis is that Cairn are the operator and will be the table at which the JV sits and collates the schedule.....if we are talking about scrambled eggs I would imaging the biggest mess would be if Cairn were to exit at any point soon...WPL are integral but they are only contributors at this stage and I dont know if they would be seriously missed if the current operator is holding the development plans and all that entails.
In regards to the funding input...well if the Malaysians wanted in on Senegal they could gazzump WPL in a heartbeat. If they were to back FAR and back-out WPL...that is.
