Some seem to be under impression that the Tail is wagging the Dog here. My view is the Tail end is Denmark and they are doing the wagging not other way around! GoG remit is local/environmental but Kvanjfeld is of global significance and that is Denmarks remit - the administration of the international/environmental aspects. GML will have a role to play in the future of mining in Greenland is still my belief - purely based on the knowhow and the experience they have built up there. But they are going to have to fight for it. I would like to know what the outcomes would be to a successful Arbitration out come for GML? Would it be purely compensation or would it be an overturning of the PPM rule or both. Apologies if this has already been covered in previous posts.
