I’m not a big fan of DW, but I don’t believe and certainly there’s no hint or indication of him misleading or acting dishonestly. The guy’s doing his best and doing a great job with what limited resources he’s got at his disposal.
Now in hindsight may be he/they should’ve made winter operational equipments available just in case, but we don’t know the reason for not doing so. I don’t think it was not done because he was incompetent or negligence but probably at the time of planning it was deemed unnecessary, who knows. One thing for sure when dealing with nature there are always unexpected challenges and things could go wrong regardless of the of prep work or planning.

As far as the suggestion of trading while in possession of market sensitive news; I checked the traded volume of options between 18-21, total traded options were less than 8 mil!! and heads were low too.
Not many people, let alone DW, would risk reputation, face hefty fines and jail time for couple hundred thousand dollars. For these reasons insider trading is a serious allegation and should not be made lightly with evidence.
