re: Bulls vs Bears All this rubbish about Bulls vs Bears - why is it that some have the view that you must be one or the other.

    As we all know

    1. No market or stock moves in a straight line up or down there are always recoveries and pull backs along the way.

    2. Even in a rising market there will be stocks that fall

    3. In a falling market there will stocks that rise.

Obviously it is normally better to trade a stock moving in the direction of the market.

I personally could not care which way the market goes as long as I am on the right side of the trade.

I agree though Crashy that one good day after over a week of bad days is not an indication that every thing is going to turn around however if the US gets a few more good profit reports tonight especially from Microsoft we could see a short term recovery.

Crashy on another point I noticed yesterday you posted that you were shorting NAB, if you do not mind me asking what was your trigger for this.
