Dutch anti-Islamic firebrand Geert Wilders was in a good mood this morning after sealing a deal overnight to form the most right-wing government in recent Dutch history.“The sun is going to shine again in the Netherlands,” he wrote early Thursday on social media. The almost six-month talks to broker a new government between Wilders’ far-right Party for Freedom (PVV), the outgoing Prime Minister Mark Rutte’s People’s Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD), the centrist New Social Contract (NSC) party and the populist Farmer Citizen Movement (BBB) finally accelerated this week.
