Well what a week for gold fans and fishermen alike at least I got to spend the week of the gold smash here in Paradise. Last half day fishing later today.

Last weekend Japan got the nod from the G20 gang in Russia to print their economy into oblivion and this week they made a good start on driving the UK pound down even further with a down grade. Just not sure who is currently leading the race to the currency bottom as yet but do know that yours truly has decided not to participate in this race by storing his future beer and fishing charter money in physical Gold.

One thing I have to say for the Poms though they take their participation in the currency blitz with a certain stoicism: With some fun down at the folk club the other night, as we know many a true word said in jest!

I see that debt clock in the USA running as fast as the line on my reel with a Spanish mackerel the other day! The fools continue to look like they really can run something as complex as a modern economy by tinkering around the edges.

By the way I enjoyed a glass of red during the week and watched the eight sections of the Martin Armstrong talk and recommend it to those interested in the many matters discussed here. No doubt some have also seen it but if not I feel worth the effort!

Looking forward to next week and another episode of Bungling Bureaucrat’s, Italian elections, official downgrades, currency debasements and general market and Gold Shenanigans. Boy what a time to be alive!
