Good post Goldstriker, they are all questions we would like answered.

For what it is worth, I believe the relatively basic CETO 5 project they started with, was about all they could manage with the resources they had at the time.

It would seem they came to the realisation that they needed to do more if they wanted to stay in the race. CETO 5 was not going to be the technology that would attract the multinationals needed to commercialise utility sized projects.

With that in mind, they refocussed to come up with a more advanced model, one that would have applications in a much wider range of localities, with easier deployment and greater output. CETO 6 seems to provide all of those capabilities but we will have to wait and see if it does.

As for taking the company to new heights, the market will tell us when the detailed CETO 6 model design is confirmed. According to them that will be in the second half of this year.

If the new model does not excite the market, then I don't know where they can go from there.

What is needed now, is confirmation that CWE's European ventures are based on real opportunities and not just hope.

The saving grace is no other wave energy companies are shooting the lights out either. I believe that CWE is still in the top three, with the possibility of going to number one if CETO 6 nails it.
