For Gold, any of the mid and majors should go well. Check out LGLs presentation on page 9 as an example of cash costs of the mid/majors, they have a good summary of what's out there.
Looking to boost some positions in the mids as think the majors are well priced. Got some junior spec Gold, MCO and HEG, but they are long term, can't see them moving much like the mid range and majors.
