I cannot realistically see any reason for share prices to improve in the near future....all this talk of the share market being an indicator of the future and that share markets will recover long before the real economy does is just nonsense....the rule about the sharemarket being ahead of the real economy is irrelevant this time around..everyone was putting in more money as the markets were falling expecting a bottom and now no one wants to make the same mistake again…..it will be a reverse situation this time around..only once the economy fully recovers will people start to have the confidence to get fully back into shares.
I know what the doomsayers have to say is not what people want to here but sooner or later you have to accept that what they have said to date has been true and those same doomsayers are predicting much worse to come.
