I think (of course IMO / DYOR) this is a major reason why CNOOC have come on board - they are also looking at the PE are will be ready & willing to make the require "payment" if we have a shot.
All round just an excellent strategic play by FAR.
Off course could be way off the mark - but with CNOOC in play - WPL don't look that big & bad any more!
