How can it be bad. They acquire 80% equity in the play, don't pay a cent really for someone to pay $25 million to do the drilling etc and because of that they lose 50% of the 80% stake. In a nutshell they are basically free carried and get 40% of the play and have made $25 million dollars for nothing really. Good business to me unless I missed something.
