Tototy, you may very well be right in what you say about the possibility of RE alternatives but, purely as a lay person & one who has LYC as their largest holding, I would always hesitate to rule out the possibility of any future developments on anything. There was obviously a time when rare earths were unknown &/or their properties which was why ferrous materials were used in the past. When it comes to science we just don't know what's around that corner down the track!
