A few days ago I posted my story, where I was phoned by broker and was told about Slater $ Gordon. He suggested that at around $6 it was a bargain and I should consider putting a substantial portion of my self managed super into this company. He said it was a no brainer. My research indicated that the company's growth was based on aquicitions and some wishful thinking. My wife and I decided that we would give this one a miss. That decision was the best investment I never made. At the time I was afraid to miss out on a "great oportunity" (to quote my ex broker!). The voice of greed kept echoing inside my head for a number of days. I have learned to appreciate what I have. I feel sorry for those that have made losses but staying in the game because of denial is not an investment strategy we should follow. All the best.
