Controlling those 3 is both harder and easier in Western Society but as Darryle eluded too, most people are more concerned about the trivial rubbish.
Very few people take the time to question anything that they are feed through the media, whether it is in relation to science/politics and most are so far removed from the military and its workings or history to leave them totally disconnected from it?
In all honesty, hasn’t this always been the case?
Blaming the youth for being gullible, mindless types who will be the ruin of the world has been around since Socrates was in short shorts.
I don’t think that we even need to see total control of these three areas of life.It seems to me that a slight massaging of truth/facts in relation to any of them can give various groups opportunities.
We will always have a few who are interested enough as we always have and that’s why we should fight to keep as many freedoms as we can and never be complacent when we see censorship try and elbow its way in.
Better a dysfunctional society with freedom of choice than a dystopian society I would suggest.
