I will hold resolve on SBL purely on the fact that it has good fundamentals. Hitting 2.8 cents on Tuesday did not make any sense to me.
"thegupper" has outlined many of the promising SBL attributes. In addition to that, these are a few more to remind ourselves on where SBL stands:
Again, if you look at the EV/ounce estimates, SBL is significantly undervalued when compared to other West African Gold explorers with EV/ounce < $30 per ounce. In the presentation, SBL management mentioned their expected 2 year trading range : up to 5.5 c.
The aircore drilling results that lie outside the deposits identified in project area that contain 1.47 million ounces in indicated and inferred mineral recurring will be out soon. Pay particular attention to Kyenyewere which I call the "X" factor, which is the structural target along the Ashanti Shear Zone which hosts the +50Moz Obussi Deposit. Let's hope that there is a big discovery in this area and other green fields.
We also need to remind ourselves that they have an existing plant that they are upgrading and once completed, ready to go on production and start generating positive cash flow. We are all waiting for news on the status of the plant, but from the local Ghana articles/papers on internet, there are activities happening in the site (owere mines). For example: News in Dec/Jan on (Owere mines)SBL about hiring employees, including OHS&E employees.
Oh Yes, before we forget, there is also the matter of significant Manganese discovery. 7 out of 19 rockchips assayed by them has greater than 30% Manganese. Their exploration target of 15-54 million tonnes at 25-30% Manganese.
