Perhaps the reason that the stocks are Tanking in a big way has only a bit to do with the IRAQ tensions, and the Korean Tensions.
But mostly to do with the Inability of the current US administration to deal with these issues (infact some would say that they have instigated them). Throw onto this pile the inability of the current US administration in dealing with the current economic malaise that is building up in the US (extending deficits, excessive borrowings and the like).
Some would even argue that the US chest beating is just a way of taking the eyes off the mismanagement of the US economy.
