You can't blame the Bush adminisration for the US economy's current predicament.
The cause of the current caos is the easy money provided by Clinton / Greenspan & Co. during the 90's. The result of the easy money was a debt burden that is only now starting to weigh on the economy.
Whatever people may say, there really is close to nothing the current administration can do to reverse the carnage.
They may pose and posture in a fashion so as to appear as if they were taking decisive action, but the cold hard realities are that their action will have little impact on the final outcome.
What's the final outcome?
The slaughter of asset values as a consequence of debt implosion.
If i were an American citizen, i would not direct blame to the poor soles who have inherited this mess (the Bush administration), but rather the architects of the chaos (Clinton / Grenspan & Co.)
