at current price dividend yield is over 7% plus franking credits so that covers any margin loan interest.
if you buy enough, you could write covered calls for some additional income, once it has run a little.
certainly with our dollar expected to trend to 60 cents, QBE's earnings should be robust. would be interesting to see what they are allowed to invest in or do invest in. with credit spreads expanding again, lots of mispricing and money to be made in credit - however maybe better to play it safe.
