I think this has benefits for the company in transitioning current intangible assets to tangible status giving them access to review, and therefore accelerate depreciation rates. However, this doesn't come into effect until July 2022.
I also don't think it will affect customers as I'm guessing CRO's business model will be subscription-based rather than outright software purchase for businesses but not sure.
