Absolute rubbish. This is just an excuse to reinforce one's own cognitive bias.
Take today's trading stats:
If you consider a bot trade <1000 share parcel, there were only 18/464 trades that resulted in a last price decrease (3.9% of all trades).
This 3.9% of trades totalled only 0.04% of today's total volume.
The trader's bot excuse is as bad the goldbug's cartel excuse.... the only thing it excuses is their ego when they have been wrong.
