No demand was there, from one person or institution utilising computer programs to artificially alter the price. If you look through the ASX rules you will find such activities are not allowed.
Its not so lame, its simply pointing out illegal market manipulation. I don't make the rules. If you are advocating that we should turn a blind eye to such activities, i would suggest that THAT is pretty lame.
I am well aware that the ASX and ASIC turn a blind eye to this behaviour.
I find that such behaviour is indicative of a sophisticated or institutional investor accumulating though, which is very excellent to behold.
The legendary investment guru Richard Wyckoff's advice seems very poignant at times like these. His "composite man" theory explains things perfectly i find.
