I don't get the whole "who has the largest transactional processing capacity" d***-measuring competition that pops up every now and then. Back in the day, sure it was a thing. Times change, these days businesses can rapidly scale capacity up and down via the cloud. If utilised capacity exceeds a certain threshold more servers (more CPUs) come online to handle the load.
In my view the better measure of a company's technical prowess is how performant is the system. That is a measure of coding and system architecture.
