How would buyers of the placement instigate this?
The scenario would require a leak has to come from inside the board of management or the brokerage involved. That leak has then got to be spread to enough existing shareholders who are involved in the placement to dump their existing shares shares in unison for 3.5-3.1c in order to instigate a sell-off to pick up shares at ...3.0c?
That didn't happen. The simplest and least nefarious explanation is essentially always the correct one:
The stock price dropped because it's been 6 weeks since the positive news in the investor webinar and the only price sensitive news has been negative (the 4C).
