Depends as you say if it is a ' Forward ' looking SPP with a ' Forward ' looking record date. Totally depends on how they decide to structure it. If they want to inspire investors to convert on their options....anything is possible. That's why we watch these matters every moment of every day. Because you just don't know what is going to happen.
Remember there are also a tonne of 2.5 cent ' unlisted ' options which will be soon to be listed which belong to ' Insiders ' including brokers and large privileged larger investors and brokers. So you need to keep an eye on what's happening with the appendices 2A's and 3B's etc..etc. And liquidity in the 2.5 cent options will of course increase and improve with more of them coming on stream..
