I’ll politely disagree with your theory on how a CEO should communicate with investors. “Eyes glazing over” is not a desirable outcome for any communicator - particularly one charged with building and maintaining market confidence. That’s the role of any CEO of a listed company.

Einstein said “if you can’t explain it simply you don’t understand it well enough”. I agree - baffling shareholders with techno-babble and mid-tier executive speak is simply not helpful.
