There are a million and 1 reasons why a borrower might take on higher interest rates when establishing a loan for a purchase and you're 100% correct in saying AF is confident he could pay it out or refinance at a more attractive rate.
I'm certainly more comfortable with AF steering the ship than I would be with a particular village idiot that frequents these pages.
