Just one thing I would add. Dismissing a view because someone doesn’t hold is just asking for confirmation bias. If you only listen to holders in a stock like SPX, you’ll probably get one of two possible views on each end of the scale:
- hopeless rampers who can only see the rainbows
- bitter holders stuck in the stock who only see the storm
I have always been amazed by the unique HotCopper cry of “you don’t hold, what would you know!”
