heya, so a while back Adrian held some webinars, and he showed demonstrations on how people paid, I think they was CRO at the time I'm not sure if it was via there website been a while so can't recal.
My thinking ( speculation ) is the spenda wallet is a enhancement to existing services and to be ready for where the future is heading.
